RESCHEDULED -- Library Leaders Topic: Making the Case: How to Demonstrate Value and Tell Your Story Online
Please note the new time and date of this event.
Join Andrea Falcone, Dean of Libraries at Binghamton Univeristy, for a presentation and conversation on demonstrating the value of libraries and effectively communicating your story to university stakeholders.
Andrea is experienced in making the case for increasing budgets using peer analysis and impact statements and writing narratives that meet accrediting standards. She will share strategies and experience in elevating the reputation of the library with campus stakeholders, including departments/programs, especially when relationships are in need of repair. Andrea’s research focuses on leadership and organizational development, and she will draw on her experience in former administrative roles, namely the former Dean of the W. Frank Steely Library at Northern Kentucky University and Associate Director of Education and Public Services at the Auraria Library, a tri-institutional library in downtown Denver.
The intended audience for this session includes library leaders and those in roles responsible for advocating for resources.
Session will be recorded for those who cannot attend.
